FAAST Blast
Notice Number: NOTC3485
Super Bowl TFR Info
With another exciting matchup between Super Bowl XLII contenders Brady and Manning just days away, those with plans for a flight in and around Central Indiana between January 30 and February 6 will want to review all Notices to Airmen (NOTAM) in place for Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis. Special security provisions, including, but not limited to, temporary flight restrictions (TFR) and two-way communication and discrete transponder requirements, will be in place to enhance safety and minimize air traffic delays. The TFR will be in effect between February 5 and 6; however, pilots can expect heavy demand and traffic management initiatives as early as January 30.
TFR information is normally disseminated by FDC NOTAM three to five days prior to the event. Once published, text and graphic depictions of restrictions may be found on www.tfr.faa.gov. It is important to note that three airports that are typically uncontrolled (KTYQ, KMQJ, and KEYE) will be serviced by temporary air traffic control towers from February 1 - 6. Specific procedures may be revised so be sure check NOTAMS frequently to verify you have the most current information. To see the official FAA Super Bowl NOTAM, go to: www.faa.gov/air_traffic/publications/notices/2012-01-12/SP11035.cfm

I have been browsing and
I have been browsing and reading quite a bit of the technical articles on this website. There is some great information on your website. Readers looking for tips on hardware driver installation can visit my website here.
Mechanics , Tecnicians or Engineers?
I feel very confortable after read your article in the Aviation Maintenance Magazine about this cuestion,
acording with the considerations exposed in the writting, the tecnicians with several years working in some or diferents equipments, like aircraft, helicopters, engines and apliances, having responsabilityies in their performances, could be called; "Aircraft Manitenance Ingeneers".
